Phone and a Flat 19/08/09
So, on my third time (lucky) trying to upgrade my phone, I succeeded. The LG Viewty Smart GC900 is all mine. First impressions of the iPhone competitor – it’s nice. Sleek and thin (albeit wide) the lack of buttons is somewhat daunting. I have to say, the first time I tried to use the touch screen I completely failed. Approximately ten text messages, some internet browsing and a few phonecalls later I seem to have gotten the hang of it.

Where have I been, and what have I been up to recently? Graduating with upper second class honours (all that palava with getting notes for PMS worked out), and successfully looking for work. I broke my laptop and now need to save up for a new one. The screen fell off. I didn’t pull it or anything. The hinges were gradually snapping, and then all of a sudden when I was typing it just came off. Great. Dells only just outlast their warranty, it seems. Who would’ve thought it?
The End of an Era 27/03/09
Technically today is the last day of my last semester at university, ever. My exams are in a month and I still have a project to complete by the 27th April, but after that, that’s the end. I’ve never not been in school – what do I do next? I need a job. Where do I look? This is not an exciting adventure for me. I want to stay in school; I am comfortable there.
